He studied in his native city, attending the Art Institute and the Academy "Pietro Vannucci", having an intense artistic activity, his teachers were among others Domenico Caputi and Gerardo Doctors.
Marcello Ciabatti's paintings can be deÀ ned as "Neo-Futurism." Art Critics have always been interested by Marcello Ciabatti painting laudatory tones, placing it in the group of the most impor- tant artists of our time (among critics Moretti, Mannoni, Giannattasio, Grippo, Hart, Tallarico, Greek, etc ...).
